Grays Harbor Youth Backpack

Grays Harbor Youth Backpack

Grays Harbor Youth Backpack is a nonprofit organization that assists school aged children that are dependent on school food programs. They help ensure that kids all over Grays Harbor have nutritional food over the weekends. They are currently packaging and distributing about 185 bags per week. The Elma Alliance Church supports this program by providing needed items, gift-filled stockings at Christmas, and through membership giving.

Kaleo Church

Kaleo Church

Every Tuesday at the Kaleo Church there is an outreach event for the homeless (poor in spirit) which starts with a meal at 6:00 p.m. followed by music, a gospel message, and prayer. The focus is to share a meal and to minister spiritually to them and attempt to meet any physical needs they might have by offering clothes, extra food, hygiene items, weather repellent items, etc. The hope is to build relationships, demonstrate the unconditional love of Christ to them so that they may come to understand and accept the gospel which would be life changing. Several members of the Elma Alliance Church participate weekly and church members support this program through providing needed items and monetary giving.
